Precision Varifocal Mirror Design

Varifocal mirrors dramatically improve the focus and level of energy collected by the Pyro Sensor regardless of range.

The electronic gain of the detector is reduced and therefore the Signal to Noise ratio is optimized to virtually eliminate false alarms.

This design also provides an improved freedom from false alarms with its unprecedented level of immunity against visible light.

ASIC Based Signal Processing

The ASIC signal processing implemented in the MR series allows the detector to identify human movement with extreme accuracy, validate intrusions and program itself to cope with harsh environmental applications.

Installation height of the MR detectors is calibration free. Optional masks for pet immunity allow the installer to customize the detector according to application requirements. Masks exist for 10,20,30 and 40 Kg pet immunity (22,44,66, or 88 lbs).
